A beautiful new home for your wonderful application
The Divio Cloud platform is designed to allow Django developers to spend more time developing and less time deploying.
This includes automated configuration, integration and deployment of re-usable applications in Django projects, via Addons, our packaging system.
Packaging your application as a Divio Cloud Addon makes it ready-for-use, even for users with no Django deployment or development experience at all, thus putting it in front of a much greater audience.
In this workshop we'll take you through the entire process, from very first steps to publishing your finished Addon. Our workshop will adopt a real Django reusable application (we haven't yet decided which, but it will be something useful and well-loved in the community) as an example. However we hope you will bring the open-source application of your choice and work on that.
We're sure that your Django application will be very happy in its new home, and as result, will receive many more visitors and discover a new audience.
This workshop is backed by written documentation, and on-going support if required.
